Event and Race Schedule

The Mission Bay Model Yacht pond is a public facility maintained by the City of San Diego for the exclusive use of model boats. Membership in the Argonauts is not required to use the pond. However, the City has posted signs suggesting that Saturdays are traditionally used by sailboats and scale models and Sundays used by power models. Fridays before a Power Division race, are typically used for power boat testing. The City of San Diego bans the flying of r/c airplanes in the park.

The pond is surrounded by grassy knolls and has public restroom facilities. Parking is plentiful. The area is an excellent location to bring a picnic lunch and watch the activities.
